Our aim is to be at the very core of our community, striving to nurture and develop everyone involved, from our coaches to players, kids and adults, to be the best they can be, both on and off the field.

Competitive and social rugby for all levels

Are you old or new to the sport? Ready to get started with a new club? Returning to the sport from non-activity/injury? Perhaps you are new to the Sligo area and in need of something to do ? We have over 70 wonderful coaches and 21 teams!

Players and Members

At the start of each new season players will have to pay their membership to their club before they can be made available for selection by the Coaches and Managers.

Re-Register

Use your registration details from last season to re-register for the 2023 – 2024 season. If you haven’t been registered with Sligo Rugby before then register as a new member.

Single Membership

The average single membership cost is €110 – €130. If you have queries prior to registration write to email membershipsligorfc@gmail.com.

Family Membership

The Family membership has several options depending on a family’s individual combination of age grade players. Please choose the option that applies to your family.

How can you join?

The Sligo Rugby Registration and Membership payment portal gives you total control over your own and your family’s details and what you choose to receive from Sligo Rugby. You can, at anytime, log back in and change your permissions / preferences and consents.

Please note that Sligo Rugby no longer accepts paper memberships forms. All registrations and membership payments must be made online via the portal. For all membership questions please contact Sligo Rugby Membership Secretary.

Fee Guide

There are a number of available memberships from single, couples, family etc. Please visit the portal and select the membership that you wish to purchase. Note that coaches must also register.

Sligo Rugby is covered by the IRFU Compulsory Group Personal Accident Scheme for Clubs. This insurance only covers the severest of injuries – loss of limb, loss of eye etc. It is imperative that all members, coaches, players and parents associated with Sligo Rugby familiarise themselves with the details of what you are insured for.

  • General Membership €130
  • Family Membership €150

    Two non-playing adults. Plus €60 for each Youth / Minis member to a max of €300.

  • Coach Membership €30
  • Adult Playing Membership €130
  • Youth Playing Membership €120

    (U13 – U18.5)

  • Minis Playing Membership €110

    (U7 – U12)
